The Chapel

Please pray for Chuck Smith, who is 84-year-old senior pastor of Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, Calif. He has been diagnosed with lung cancer and is going to start chemotherapy next week. After his treatments are finished, he will then will have radiation treatments. Pastor Smith announced it to his church so everyone could bathe him in prayer. Please add him to your prayer list and your church's prayer list. May the Great Physician remove all the cancer cells out of his body completely in the Name of Jesus.

Update:  Donnie was told his ability to walk would get worse because of the tumor.  This weekend Donnie was able to walk on his own without any loss of feeling in his legs.  PTL! 

Please pray for Donnie.  Donnie was diagnosed with an agressive form of brain cancer.  On January 27, Donnie underwent surgery to try and remove a large and agressive tumor.  The Doctors were only able to get 75% of the tumor.  Please pray that the Lord would pour out His grace on Donnie and his entire family. 

Please pray for healing of my 14 year old daughter Sydney. She is having abnormal heart rhythm and abnormally fast heart beats that cause her to feel very bad. Please pray that GOD will touch and heal her heart in the name of Jesus. Please also pray for the doctors that take care of her for wisdom and knowledge. All things are possible through Christ.

UPDATE: 1/24/12 - The tests show cancer cells are in the lymph nodes, but Regina is believing for the Lord to heal her! She is meeting with the cancer team at UAB this Thursday to discuss treatment.  Please pray for the Lord to remove all the cancer cells in her body in the Name of Jesus.

Regina has been diagnosed with breast cancer, unknown how bad, tests to come in the future.  Please keep her and her family in your prayers.

Please pray for Greg's Aunt Linda that was diagnosed with brain cancer.  Lord, please give this family strength as they make decisions in the coming days.

Christina has just finished treatment for breast cancer; she is asking to be completely healed, cancer free, and to remain so for the rest of her life.

Please keep Elizabeth in your prayers...... I ask for prayer to help me with my health. I have many health problems which are leukemia, RSD, neuropathy, sleep apnea, open wounds on both of my legs, fractured back, bulging disks, depression and chronic back pain. The doctors have told me that my quality of life is going down. They have also told me to live my life to the fullest every day. I cry so much all the time from the pain that I am in. Sometimes I am afraid to go to sleep, I am not afraid of dying I am afraid of leaving my loved ones behind. My baby boy is looking over me I lost him 4yrs ago
 

UPDATE: 1/23/12 - They are separated and have no clear update although she is certain that God is working behind the scenes. Revelation from God this week that Mike may be suffering from PTSD. Prayer for physical, emotional and spiritual healing, deliverance, Great Physician supernatural intervention, medical intervention, his safety and protection, hope and courage for Mike, wisdom for Vanessa. Also emotional, spiritual healing for son, John.

Please pray for Vanessa's husband Mike for healing of dependence/abuse of doctor prescribed pain medication and the healing of unclear level of pain.  Also prayer for courage and obedience, deliverance from bondage and spiritual sight.

Update:  Please continue to pray for David. He had a MRI last week and the tumor is receding, but not out of the woods yet. David was in hospital last week due to blocked intestines and then got an infection and was admitted in the hospital for several days. Please pray for a total healing of cancer. While taking chemo, please pray for his immune system. David feels the power of the prayers.

All went well for David. Large intestine is free of polyps or other concerns. The hemorrhoids were banded and David is doing better. His next chemo treatment is on Friday. Please pray for all cancers cells to be gone in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

SIDE EFFECTS:  David is going in at  noon to resolve a very challenging side effect of his ongoing chemo treatments—intestinal blockages from internal hemorrhoids.  As you might know or imagine, these things can become complicated to resolve with elevated risk while taking Avastin.  David will undergo a colonoscopy to confirm the cause of the blockage and take a look-see if there are other issues.  The hemorrhoids will be banded rather than surgically removed because cutting is too dangerous when taking Avastin.  Please continue to remember and pray for David as he continues his chemo treatments.

David is having a repeat MRI on Thursday, October 20 to see how the tumor is reacting to the chemo medications. Please pray that the tumor has disappeared and is gone in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

David is going in for blood work, doctor visit and another Avastin infusion this Thursday morning. It has been two weeks since re-commencement of chemo. David is doing better. Focal seizures have stabilized, and tt seems the Avastin is giving relief, if not shrinking  the tumor. Please keep David and Jan in your prayers, by His stripes David is being healed in the Name of Jesus.

David who has had a brain tumor, chemo and radiation. Due to recent MRI test, showing a small tumor the surgeon did not like the location, so David is taking Avastin and chemo locally at home.  Please pray for no complications and side effects, but pray for strength for David to go be able to take the chemo.  Lord, shrink and remove the tumor quickly in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Latest Update:  Doctors at UCSF agree it is regrowth of the brain tumor and think it should be acted on soon. David and his wife have received their suggestions, including other possible clinical trials that include surgery. They are meeting with their local oncologists for his thoughts on Monday. They will need to answer USCF next week. They are asking God for wisdom and best path for David. Let 's pray for God's divine wisdom, knowledge and divine intervention for the Lord to touch and remove the tumor and all cancer cells in the mighty Name of Jesus. By thy stripes David is healed. Amen.  

Please pray for David and his wife Jan. David was diagnosed with a brain tumor and has had chemo for several months and radiation. He has had a break from treatments and he had his required MRI on 9/12. They have received news today that David's MRI is a little bit troubling. It is being forwarded on to USCF for further study. They saw the MIR and it appeared troubling. They are waiting for the second opinion and possible options. Please pray for God's divine touch in changing the MRI report to bring God's glory in healing David of cancer in the mighty Name of Jesus.

URGENT UPDATE:   David has had another set back with his bypass surgery.  The doctors are concerned.  David has some "unknown" infection. They have moved David back to ICU and the Doctor may have to put him on a ventilator.  Please pray for the Holy Spirit to speak to David throughout this medical complication.  "Lord, may You speak life to him and turn his heart to You 100% and then away from the other person in the Name of Jesus.  Lord, remove all infections in his body and heal his heart and all organs in the mighty Name of Jesus.  Nothing is too hard for You to do.  In Jesus Name we pray. Amen. "

UPDATE: Please pray for Lisa's husband, David who has had complications with his bypass surgery and has an infection. Lisa was able to pray with David and read healing scriptures to him. She also gave the OW scriptures to pray to encourage her. Please pray for David's heart, eyes and ears to be touched by the Lord and have His own personal Damascus Road experience in the hospital.

Please pray for Lisa's husband, David who is having triple by pass this week. The praise is the other person asked Lisa to come and sit with her in the waiting room. Let's pray that the Lord touches David's heart in turning his heart to the Lord and back home. Lord, soften this other person's heart and thank You that she called Lisa to be part of David's surgery and recovery.

Shelly has been very sick for the past several years, she has been in and out of the ER and no one can explain what is wrong. She request that you pray for her as she is a mother of five and a wife.

Shelly is asking for prayer for her mother, Vicky she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Please pray that it hasn't spread and will be removed from her body completely and forever. Also, please pray for God's wisdom and guidance for her surgeon as well.

Please pray for Randy. His sugar readings have been high for over a month now. He also has been sick with a chest cold that he can't seem to get rid of and a rash on both sides of his face. Please pray for his healing.

Brenda would appreciate prayer for Pat.  Pat is suffering from lung cancer. 

Julie is praying for a miracle for her thyroid tumor to be healed and God's wisdom for what He wants me to do medically. Thankful the early cancer in her bladder hasn't spread.

UPDATE: 1/26/12 - Update on Lisa.. my sister went to a specialist who in turn told her that all of his services are FREE! PTL! He wants to treat her tumor as if its worse than it is and give her 6 weeks of radiation 5 days a week. Please pray for her spirits and her body as i'm sure she will be fatigued. Please pray the Lord does a miracle with the healing of her tumor and the healing of my marriage. Our parents are unsaved and what a great testimony would this be.

Please continue to pray for Lori's sister Lisa. The doctors confirmed her tumor but want to go the route of a Chemo Pill since surgery isn't an option. Please pray her seizures stop so that she can start treatment soon and that the tumor is gone in the name of Jesus.

Gabriella is asking for prayer for her husband Cesar, he was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy this past December when he was admitted to the hospital for having a stroke. He is recovering and is back to work, but he is not taking this illness seriously and has a full-time and a part-time job and I am very concerned about that. I am praying for him every day, so our God open his spiritual eyes, cure and soften his heart. I know that Jesus is trying to rescue him, I have a lot faith that I am one day closer to my miracle...!

Joan is asking for prayer for her family. Please pray for healing my son Domenic with a disease effecting his brain. Please pray that he will respond to the treatment his doctor is trying and this disease will not progress. Also for my daughter Gina that she tests negative as a carrier for this disease. 
 

UPDATE:  1/20/12 - Larry's mother has been moved from the hospital to a rehab facility for the next 2 weeks.

UPDATE:  Please pray for Larry's mother, Roberta who has had complications after her hip surgery and is in ICU. Please pray for all her complications and blood pressure to go back into normal range.

Please pray for Larry's mother, Roberta who is having a hip replacement surgery on January 13th. Please pray for no complications and a quick recovery. Lord, guide and direct the surgeon's hands in the Name of Jesus. 

Rudy is now wearing a heart & breathing monitor to record his heart rate and breathing episodes.  Lord, touch and heal Rudy's lung in the Name of Jesus.

Please pray for our son's six-week old baby, Rudy (Charlyne 8th grandchild) who has been having some breathing episodes while sleeping. Please pray that he will have NO more episodes on his "Angel" mattress in the mighty Name of Jesus. Tom and Kathleen are seeing the Doctor on Friday. We are praying for a good report.

UPDATE: 2/7/12- Joe began chemo again last week. He has it 2 weeks on and 1 week off for 12 weeks. It is a praise that he is able to eat well still. He had either cancer cells or scar tissue blocking his intestines so no food could pass through his body. But from prayer, that has changed! Surgery was the only option last Sept. but it was too risky to do. We praise God for that! Please pray for God to speak to Joes heart. Pray for his salvation.
 

UPDATE: 1/31/12 - Joe is doing well just tired most days. He starts chemo again tomorrow. He is loosing his hair, pray for his strength and no side effects. He needs prayers for his salvation.

UPDATE: 1/24/12 - Joe celebrated his 66th birthday this weekend, it is a praise to be able to do that! He is feeling good and had a good time. Chemo starts again in early Feb. He needs prayers for his salvation, his strength and no side effects during chemo.

UPDATE: Joe  has gallbladder cancer. He is doing pretty well this week just tired. He just left to go on a vacation before he starts his third round of doing 12 weeks of chemo again at the end of the month. Pray for his salvation that God softens his heart and also for all cancer cells to be gone!
 

UPDATE: 1/24/12 - Thank you very much for your prayers. Derek and his wife were able to attend our prayer group on Monday and that's a miracle itself. They're not "out of the woods" yet but by Lord's grace they will be healed.

Natalia asks for prayer for a couple from her prayer group. Derek has been diagnosed with Leukemia, going through chemotherapy now, suffering severe side effects. His wife who is trying to support him and stay strong was taken ill during Sunday Mass service. Please pray for healing, strength, courage and peace beyond understanding for both of them. By thy stripes they are healed in Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
 

Ben is requesting prayer for an upcoming surgery. On Thursday, Feb. 9th, I will have surgery on my left shoulder for a badly torn rotator cuff. I am left handed and like a fish out of water with my right hand. I will be an abduction pillow splint that is strapped to my chest and arm 24/7. I will have one I use in the shower and one I wear the rest of the time. Pray for hands to help me with bathing and dressing on a daily basis for 6 weeks plus. As I am divorced, living alone, you get the picture. I am not worried about the surgery but I am about my time in healing. Pray for help, from family, friends, home health, and even perhaps the Lord to speak to my wife's heart for her to help.

Please pray for Tia's mom Susan who has been having a lot of pain in her foot, neck and lower back.

Please pray for a stander's daughter, Natalia, who is three-years-old and is sick. She has been admitted into the hospital. They are not sure what is wrong.

Please Pray for Aryah Wilson 4 months old. The baby was born with congenital infant glaucoma.

Pray for baby Rory. He is 1 year 7 months old. He was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and vocal cord paralysis. He has already had 2 open heart surgeries and is due more in the future. He also has a tracheostomy. With God nothing is impossible.
 

Pray for standers who will be appearing in divorce court today and in the near future. Pray for all divorces to be cancelled around the world daily.

• Housing and transportation needs

• Health needs for entire family
• Special grace and mercy for restored marriages
• Pastors to proclaim the truth about marriage
• Revival for all nations

We thank God for the parents who have taken a stand to pray for their son or daughter's troubled marriage. We also hear from people who have taken a stand for their pastor's marriage, or for the marriage of a friend. Pray for all marriages that God will find one prayer warrior to stand in the gap for any couple who is fighting the spiritual battle to save their family. 

Pray for standers who are being threatened with various kinds of legal action by their absent spouse. Lord, we pray for all divorces to canceled in the mighty Name of Jesus. 

Please pray for all the teenagers and young adults who are having to choose every day whether to serve their Lord or go the world's way.

Pray for men of God to preach about the sanctity of marriage. Pray also for all church to pray for all the marriages in their church and against adultery. Pray for spouses to be delivered from adultery and spirit of lust.

Pray for all marriage ministries. May all of us direct hurting people to God's Word, the Bible, and not share our opinions. May we all listen to the Holy Spirit and always minister with integrity.

Pray for Dennis Wingfield as he ministers to men through the "Standing Firm" weekly message.

Pray that spouses who are away will have wisdom and discernment and leave the other person out of family functions involving standers. Pray that fathers who live far away will come home to see children.
